Having been tombstoned at DU, I finally got around to checking out a site that several disillusioned DUers had urged me to look at during the increasing DU primary season rancor: DemocraticWarrior.com.
Color me hooked.
At first, the DW interface was unfamiliar. Frankly, it was sort of like when I get a new version of Sid Meier's Civilization series. Some of the concepts and control interfaces were immediately familiar. Others are requiring trial and error. I might eventually read the FAQ. Then again, I don't read the new Civ manuals until I've at least gotten to an intermediate level on the new version.

I continue to wish the ground-breaking Admins at DU well. But I'll be playing on the newer, cooler version: DW. "All the D. Double the U." (TM)

P.S. I feel like Gandalf reborn. The BillaryBalrogs (TM), or Billaryrogs (TM) on DU have been exposed for what they really are, so my fall from the Bridge of Khazad-dûm was well worth it. I am now Gandalf the White, and am ready now to finish the fight for a new age, devoid of BushillaryCo. And definitely no Billaryrogs.
